The desert safari tour departs in the afternoon across the desert with photo stops during an exciting dune drive and a stop at a camel farm. The drive continues across the desert. Watch the beautiful sunset in the desert. You have the opportunity to do camel riding, sandboarding and try out a henna design. Witness the traditional folk dance ‘Tanoura’ that is sure to mesmerize you. Enjoy the Arabian hospitality with dates, Arabic coffee, and the Shisha (the Arabic water pipe). After working up an appetite, enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner. Before returning, watch the oriental belly dance performance.

Know before you go
• Pic• Pick-up will be in a four-wheel drive Land Cruiser on a sharing basis with up to six people per vehicle from different hotels. The operator will contact you within 24h to 48h of the tour date to confirm pick up location and time.
• Winter Pick-up timings starting from 1st October: 14:30 - 15:00
• Minimum two guests are required for a booking. Children under the age of five are not allowed on this experience.
• Vegetarian options are available for the dinner buffet. Please advise at time of booking if this is required.
• Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
• During the Islamic holidays and Ramadan, there will be a restriction on live entertainment (no belly or Tanoura dance) and serving alcohol throughout the UAE. Therefore, the safari will be operated without these entertainments and the serving of alcohol.
• The duration of the actual tour is about 5-6 hours but the transfers from and to the hotels in Dubai may take another 60-90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day.
Cancellation policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 48 hours before booked date. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
Additional Information
• Our safaris involve off-road driving across sand dunes as well as off-road tracks in mountain areas. As the drive can be rough in certain given rugged areas we are unable to accept any pregnant women, persons with heart ailments and back or neck problems.
• Seats are not pre-allocated. Seating will depend on the order of picking up guests from different locations.
• Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats or some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight.
• Normal tourist photography is acceptable, but it is considered offensive to photograph Arab women. It is also courteous to ask permission before photographing men. Photographs of government buildings, police or military installations are not allowed.
