Overview
Brace yourself for an exhilarating experience as you roam through the desert wilderness in a 4-by-4 Jeep, driven by none other than yourself. Embark on this epic adventure, starting with about an hour-long drive from the city to the serene sands. Here, an experienced off-roading instructor will be standing by your assigned vehicle to put you through the paces.
After a safety briefing, you’re off in a convoy, enjoying every moment as your Jeep sails over the undulating dunes of the pristine desert terrain. Each guest will have 30 minutes of driving time to make their mark in the sands.
Since your safety is our top priority, we will ensure that your session is secure yet memorable and filled with fun.
The tour also includes a convenient transfer to your hotel.
Know before you go
• This experience involves driving across dunes and off-road tracks • As the drive can be rough in certain areas, we are unable to offer the experience to pregnant women, and persons with heart ailments, back issues or neck problems • Participants must be over 21 with a minimum of two years driving experience • A minimum of two people are required for a booking • Transfers will be in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser. The operator will contact you within 24 to 48 hour of the tour date to confirm pick-up location and time • This tour is not wheelchair accessible • Dress code: light summer clothing is recommended; sweaters or jackets may be needed for winter months, especially in the evenings; good quality sunglasses and hats are advised • The morning tour departs approximately between 6am and 6:30am • The afternoon tour departs approximately between 3pm and 3:30pm • Please confirm your exact pick-up time with the supplier after the booking is confirmed in order to avoid inconveniences • The duration of the actual tour is about 4-4.5 hours but the transfers to and from Dubai hotels may take an additional 60-90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day • Each guest must send the supplier a copy of their passport and international driver's license as well as a signed disclaimer form • All participants will be asked to sign an Indemnity Waiver Form before undertaking the experience • In case of accidents, Orient Tours LLC will not be liable for the clients • No insurance is provided or available for any incident including accidents, damage, loss, injury, etc. caused by or to the hirer during the self-drive. The hirer shall be solely liable and responsible for all consequences as a result of any such incident.
Cancellation policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 48 hours before booked date. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
