Your professional guide will introduce you to the desert ecosystem and help you spot magnificent native animals like the Arabian oryx. The desert is teeming with life and this is an opportunity to immerse yourself in Dubai's unique natural surroundings. Hear conservation success stories about the Arabian oryx and spot other wildlife like gazelles, desert monitors, birdlife and even the rare Gordon's wildcat. Visit a desert lake, view migratory birds from the hides and enjoy great photo opportunities.
Arrive at a luxury resort hidden in the heart of the nature reserve, the famous Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast with spectacular views from the deck, overlooking the stunning desert setting.

Pick-up from private residences cannot be accommodated, only from hotels.
Vegetarian, child meals and kosher meals are available upon request on booking.
As our safari drives do not offer dune driving, pregnant ladies can join our safari until the second trimester. After that they can be dropped at the camp.
In case of changes to timings or otherwise, we can reach out to the hotel and to guests directly if they have provided a working contact number.
We strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance that will cover you in case of unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining your scheduled tour. We will be more than happy to provide evidence to your insurance company if you were unable to join us.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start time. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.

Pick-up times will vary throughout the year. In order for you to plan your day, please be prepared for a pick-up between 6:30-73:0am.
A confirmation with a precise pick-up time will be sent to your email or phone, the latest by 5pm on the day before the excursion. If we are unable to reach you, we kindly ask you to contact our office on +971 4 440 9827.

We don't pick up guests from private residences in Dubai unless you have booked a private car. If you are staying at a private residence, we can pick you up from the nearest hotel.
Hotel pick-up from urban Dubai area is in a Range Rover. Unless privately booked, it may be shared. The vehicle can accommodate a maximum of four guests. For private car bookings, please contact customer support.
Due to health concerns, the wildlife drive is not recommended for pregnant guests in their third trimester.
Bathroom facilities are available throughout the tour.
This tour is not suitable for children as Al Maha does not permit children under the age of 10 into the resort. If you would still like to do the conservation drive with a child under the age of 10, we can offer a gourmet breakfast in an exclusive camp inside a royal desert retreat.
