Experience an exciting adventure by driving across the dunes in the latest, fully automatic, four-seater, off-road dune buggies. The Driver Experience offers you the opportunity to drive our Can-Am dune buggy for at least 20 minutes out of the two-hour experience while taking turns with up to three other guests in your shared buggy.

Overview
Join us for an exciting guided drive across the dunes in our four-seater off-road dune buggies. You can bring up to three friends with you on the trail, and your experienced safari guide will lead the way in the fourth buggy.
We'll pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned and comfortable 4-wheel drive vehicle. Once you arrive at the departure camp area, you can enjoy some refreshments before embarking on your adventure. Each Can-Am dune buggy can accommodate up to 4 people, and you'll take turns driving the buggy for a minimum of 20 minutes each while the others enjoy the thrilling ride from the passenger seat.
This guided tour provides amazing photo opportunities among the desert dunes. Don't worry if you've never driven a dune buggy before - we'll provide you with all the driving and safety instructions you need. All of our dune buggies are 4-wheel drive and fully automatic, with seat belts, roll cages, and off-road suspension.
And the best part? A portion of your fee goes to support local conservation efforts. After your adventure, we'll take you back to your hotel in the 4-wheel drive vehicle.
Know before you go
This activity is not wheelchair accessible, not recommended for expectant mothers or guests with back problems or heart ailments. A valid driver’s license, issued by any country, must be carried by all drivers. Drivers should be 18 years and above. Non-driving passengers joining the lead buggy can be 14 years and above. Children between 06 to 13 years can join the experience as non-drivers however need to be seated in a private buggy along with the adult accompanying them. Therefore a private buggy needs to be booked. A refundable deposit will be taken on the day of the safari. All of our product are operated in line with local Covid-19 legislation requirements.
The operator will contact you within 24hours of the tour date to confirm pick up location and time.
Please ensure that you are at the lobby of your stated hotel at least 15 mins prior to your pick up time.
Effective 01st March 2023 the security deposit of AED 5,000 (by cash or credit card) will be taken at the venue prior to the Dune Buggy Adventure piloting experience. Once the experience is complete with no damages, this amount will be returned in full.
Cancellation policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 48hours in advance of the start date of the experience.

Winter Season: 1st October to 30th April: 4 runs per day
* Morning pick-up time:
- 1st run is at 6:00 am
- 2nd run is at 9 am ( 30-min more or less depending on the location)
* Afternoon pick-up time:
- 1st run is at 12 pm
- 2nd run is at 2:30 pm ( 30-min more or less depending on the location)
Summer Season: 1st May to 31st September: 2 runs a day
* Morning pick-up time:
-5:00 am (30-min more or less depending on the location)
* Afternoon pick-up time:
-4:00 pm (30-min more or less depending on the location)
Drop off:
* 4 hours post pick-up ( 1-hour drive each way and 2hrs buggy ride)
Drive time:
* Each sharing passenger will get 30-min of driving experience with a swap every 30-minutes.
* Exclusive buggy a total ride of 2 hours.
All guests must wear closed shoes. Sandals and flip-flops are not allowed due to safety reasons.
Note: Water will be loaded onto transport during Ramadan. Consumption by clients is managed by the Tour Guide at an appropriate place where it will cause least offence. It is not permitted for our clients to leave transport with the bottles in their hands whilst on the tour.
