Overview
One of the must-visit places in Dubai is Palm Jumeirah, a magnificent manmade island in the shape of a palm tree that's home to some of the city's most spectacular attractions. The best way to explore Palm Jumeirah is by taking the Palm Monorail, which is both convenient and enjoyable.
To start your journey, head to the Gateway station where you can park your car and hop on the monorail. You can also connect to the Dubai Tram from here. As you ride along, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Palm Jumeirah and beyond.
The next stop is Al Ittihad Park, which is home to various parks and offers a 3.2km track for fitness enthusiasts. From here, you can also access the Golden Mile Galleria, a shopping and dining destination, and Palm West Beach, which is one of Dubai's most beautiful beaches. Here, you can swim, relax or rent an e-bike to explore the shoreline.
Nakheel Mall station is another exciting stop, as it provides access to The View at the Palm. This new observation deck offers a 360-degree view of the city's skyline and iconic landmarks like Burj Al Arab and Atlantis, The Palm.
Finally, the last stop is Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, which is right by the entrance to the world's largest waterpark. Here, you can enjoy 105 slides and rides, plus various aquatic activities such as snorkelling, diving and even walking underwater. You can also explore The Lost Chambers Aquarium, or meet friendly marine mammals at Dolphin Bay and Sea Lion Point.
